Mathematics Readiness Test
          
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this exam is to obtain information to assist your academic advisor in making an informed recommendation for your first Mathematics course at the University of Vermont.

DIRECTIONS:
This test is designed to assess your ability to handle the concepts and skills needed for success in your first semester of college mathematics. The test is multiple choice and timed. The answer to each question is one of five choices. It is advisable to have pencil and paper ready when starting the test. There is no penalty for incorrect answers. Unanswered questions are considered incorrect.

Do NOT use a calculator.
