Teaching

In the Spring 2014 Semester I am teaching:

Math 052 Fundamentals of Mathematics

Math 373 Topics in Discrete Mathematics

Here is the UVM Registar's home page.

Classes at UVM frequently have Mathematica Labs. Mathematica is a product of Wolfram Research.

Research

My research interests are in Graph Theory, Combinatorics, and Theoretical Computer Science. I am particularly interested in Topological Graph Theory. Here is my (somewhat out-of-date) vitae.

I sometimes maintain several other web pages.

I used to direct the Editorial Offices of the Journal of Graph Theory. The current managing editor is Pavol Hell at Simon Fraser University (see Wiley's JGT home page).

We run a Combinatorics Seminar. This is a collaborative effort between UVM's Department of Mathematics and Statistics and St. Michael's University Department of Mathematics, with tie-ins to UVM's Department of Computer Science.

I have an especially rich academic heritage (pdf format)
