Catalogue Description:  Presentation and discussion of advanced mechanical engineering problems and current developments.

Credits: One hour

 

In order to get a grade for the course:

1)       Students must provide written evaluation of each speaker. The evaluation must include:

a.       Description of the speaker

b.       Description of the problem presented

c.       Evaluation of the technical merit

d.       Evaluation of the speaking style

2)       The written evaluation is due before or at the seminar the following week and will not be accepted thereafter.

3)       The evaluation forms will be graded, and the course grade will be the average of all evaluation grades.

4)       Students may miss a maximum of 2 seminars. If you must miss a seminar then provide Dr. Iatridis with written notification in advance of the seminar.
