Graduate students needed for research on applied mathematics
I am currently looking for one or two graduate students to do research in applied mathematics (in nonlinear partial differential equations, nonlinear optics or numerical methods in particular).
This student(s) will be supported by research assistantships (from my NSF grant) and teaching assistantships (from the department). Students for M.S. degrees or Ph.D. degrees are both welcome.
The students should have taken courses in ordinary differential equations and elementary numerical methods. In addition, they should have a strong interest to perform mathematical research.
