GRADING

 

 

                                    

 

The letter grades given are based solely on the indicated weighted averages.  No further considerations have been made.  For example, borderline marks have not been rounded.  You should read these as "worst case" i.e. if grades were assigned today, your grade would be no worse that what is listed. 

 

 

Quizzes/Assignments 400 points  ~49%    Includes quizzes, homework and in-class exercises
Three Tests given in the Evening 300 points  ~36%    Friday February 15                                               

   Friday March 21

   Friday April 18
Final Exam 125 points  ~15%    3:30 - 6:30  Tuesday May 6 in 102 Perkins

                                  

 

No makeup quizzes will be given without prior permission.  
No late homework assignments will be accepted.  
Homework assignments are due at the beginning of  class on the due date.  Come to class with your paper ready to submit.
If you are late to class, hand in your assignment immediately.
Two or three (depending on the number we actually have) of the quizzes / home works will be dropped.
