Research > Past Funding One of our major DOD funded projects was titled "Applications of Finite Groups to Signal Processing". There were three Co-PIs: Richard Foote Dan Rockmore and myself. This research spans central areas of contemporary pure and applied mathematics: finite group and representation theory, applied group theory, non-commutative harmonic analysis and signal processing and wavelets.
