Our research focusses on image processing problems and on complex wavelets.

We are currently working on three problems:

1. Examining applications of the new complex wavelet filters that we have
generated based on our work with 2D-analytic signals from analytic functions.

2. Solving the colocalization problem, that is, determining the degree of overlap
of two different fluorescently labeled molecular species, such as proteins.
Our method uses wavelet decomposition to identify colocalized areas.
3. Automating methods for determining activation times in electrograms to aid in procedures for destroying diseased tissues.
