How to study math

1.      Read the new material.

2.      Do the homework problems; keep track of the ones that give you difficulty

3.      Talk about the difficulties in class.

4.      Go back and retry the problems you found difficult.

Note:  It is absolutely essential that you know these rules.  If you need extra practice, try the problems on pages 238, 251, and 275.  These will give extra practice.  If you cannot do these problems, you are going to find this course very difficult.
