Programs for the TI-83 Plus

To download a program and transfer it to your calculator you will need a TI Connectivity USB Cable and TI Connect Software. (If you haven't used the connectivity cable before, install the software on your computer before you first connect the calculator to the computer.)

Download Instructions

Click on a program from the list below, and save it somewhere that you know how to get to (for example, in a folder on your desktop).
Connect your calculator to your computer with the TI Connectivity USB Cable.
Start up the TI Connect software on your computer, and click the TI Device Explorer icon.
Wait for it to connect to your calculator, then find the file that you downloaded and drag it onto the TI Device Explorer window.

Programs

DIFFS The program calculates first differences, second differences, and percent changes in a data set and stores the results in L3, L4, and L5 respectively. Before running the program, make sure your data is entered with x-values in L1 and y-values in L2. To run the program, press the PRGM button, select the DIFFS program and press Enter.
MOD The program calculates the value of n mod m.
